Crystal Fighters

Crystal Fighters took their name from an unfinished opera written by band member Laure’s Basque grandfather during his final months of insanity. Captivated by the Basque folk music and mythology – and the opera’s seemingly prophetic contents – Crystal Fighters was formed in an attempt to expand upon the wild and deranged spirit of the old man’s writings. Crystal Fighters released “I Love London” and “Xtatic Truth” on Kitsune in 2009, then set up Zirkulo Records to release their debut album “Star Of Love” that was subsequently licensed to PIAS and Atlantic Records. Their second album, “Cave Rave”, also released by PIAS and Atlantic Records, was released in 2013, and set them up to be one of Europe’s biggest festival headlining live bands.  The band’s third album ‘Everything Is My Family’ was released in October 2016, and the band have recently signed to Warner Brothers Records for their 4th album.
