Dom Maker is one half of the always-evolving UK electronic group Mount Kimbie, signed to Warp Records. Since moving to LA in 2016, Maker has been collaborating with world-renowned vocalists in rap and pop worlds, often in partnership with his long-term friend James Blake. His first forays into production quickly led to Maker producing for Jay-Z on MaNyfaCedGod, then followed by extensive work on Blake’s latest two albums Assume Form and Friends That Break Your Heart, earning himself a grammy nomination in the process and producing for the likes of SZA, Rosalia, Young Thug, and ASAP Rocky. More recently, Maker’s production work found himself collaborating with UK artists Dave and Slowthai on their respective critically acclaimed No.1 albums, whilst also cultivating a new wave of artists that include Liv.e, Reggie, KeiyAa, and Choker. In 2021, Maker also contributed production with Joey Badass on music for his Oscar-winning short film, Two Distant Strangers, and collaborated with Travis Scott’s on music premiered at his Cactus Jack Dior ’22 fashion show.
