Having been at the forefront of the international electronic scene for years, Mount Kimbie (Kai Campos & Dominic Maker) need little introduction. After three critically acclaimed albums with Hotflush & Warp Records and countless world live tours, Kai’s focus has moved back to one of the groups original priorities; the dance floor space.
Kai’s live shows offer a glimpse beyond Mount Kimbies varied influences of avant garde tastes from across all forms of electronic music. Campos reveals inspiration from heady minimalist 90’s techno and the spontaneity of live hardware, revealing a harder, more club focussed orientation. His energy building techno paired with live improvisation brings focus to the more pulsating, Detroit inspired side to techno. Kai’s DJ sets focus on stomping techno, hypnotic Detroit sounds and everything outside and inbetween.
